Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting February 9, 2026 MINUTES Chairman Al Cooper called the meeting to order, followed by a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioners present were Bertadean Baker, Victor Hunt, Angelena Kearney Dunlap, and Tare Davis. Others in attendance were County Manager Crystal Smith, Assistant County Manager Matt Garner, County Attorney Shiekel Richardson, and Interim Finance Officer Chuck Murray. 1. ADOPT SUGGESTED AGENDA On motion of Commissioner Kearney Dunlap, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, and duly carried by unanimous vote, the Suggessted Agenda with the removal of Item 6C was approved. 2. PRESENTATIONS A. AccessON Broadband Update - Erik Dixon and Jan Harris Erik Dixon and Jan Harris of AccessON provided an update on the build of broadband service in Warren County. At this time, AccessON service has completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 - Equipment Hut of their 3 phase project, and they are on target to accomplish the remaining steps. AccessON has a local office and has employed local staff. AccessON is active in the community and encourage anyone interested in service to contact them to see if they are in an area serviced by them. B. Brightspeed Broadband Update - Steve Brewer, Director of Government Affairs Steve Brewer, Director of Government Affairs for Brightspeed stated that the build-out of broadband service in Warren County by Brightspeed will be complete by the end of 2026. 3.
