Call To Order: 5:40 pm by Chair Willis, and quorum noted.
Approval of Minutes:
A motion to accept the minutes was made by Landry, seconded by Ambrose, and carried.
Agenda Items –
Chair Willis updated members on the agreement progression with Mr. Broussard. Mr. Broussard called to state that he believed the proposed agreement was workable. He still has some concerns about the new Enterprise district extension. Will contact again once CEA is completed and the first transfer is done.
Chair Willis updated members on the last contact with the Mayor's office. Willis received a communication from the Mayor's office stating that the action plan had been accepted and that the city attorney had begun work on the CEA. Attorney Ezra will receive CEA when ready. Ambrose was not allowed to attend the meeting with the mayor and the city councilman. The Mayor is still pushing forward with the Enterprise Blvd district extension. There is still a lack of understanding of the need for change. The vote on the Enterprise district was deferred at the council meeting.
Landry reported that the Facebook page is complete, just waiting on funding before we post.

Motion to accept minutes was made by Ambrose, seconded by Willis, and carried.
Agenda Items –
Board member Landry provided update on Facebook page for NLCEDD. Set up is nearly complete.
Board member Ambrose presented draft outline of actions items for consideration. Summary items include: Frame the District/Story, Budget Strategy given existing funding ($650,000 – 4 years), Foundation and Quick Wins, Business Retention Along Corridor, Housing and Quality of Life Focus and Two-Year Milestones.
Board members will utilize draft as a framework to finalize Action Plan on 01.12.26. Chair Willis will then submit to the City of Lake Charles to expedite issuance of promised funding.
Chair Willis opened discussion on proposed consultant and asked for suggestions on title for the individual that will be hired to support the District. Members agreed upon Economic Development Consultant (EDC).
