A commission meeting of the Louisiana Commission on Human Rights was held on Wed., Dec. 6, 2023,
in person, in the Louisiana Workforce Commission - 1st floor conference room. The meeting was called
to order at 11:50 a.m. by Commissioner Angela Faulk.
It was determined that a quorum had been established.
Roll Call was conducted by Christa Davis.

Commissioner Faulk requested approval of the minutes of the Oct. 4, 2023 meeting. Motion made by
Commissioner Rikki David and seconded by Commissioner Julia Méndez Achée. The motion carried.
Commissioner Faulk announced the following:
At the conclusion of the meeting, sexual harassment training, which is mandatory, would be
conducted.
Those who already completed sexual harassment with their job, could be dismissed.

A commission meeting of the Louisiana Commission on Human Rights was held on Wed., Oct. 4, 2023, via Zoom and was called to order at 9:11AM by Commissioner Angela Faulk.
Roll Call was conducted by Christa Davis.
It was noted that a roll call would be conducted at the end of the meeting to confirm late attendees.
A quorum was not established (five commissioners are needed) therefore the acceptance of the last meeting's minutes was postponed.

Chairwoman Jacobson’s started her remarks with encouragement to the Commissioners and
staff during the pandemic.
Executive Director’s Report
Dr. Raby shared that the current case inventory is 78 cases. Intake has 28 for dissemination
and 50 cases were currently assigned to the investigators. EEOC would begin the transfer as
customary maintaining the inventory at 100.

A motion to approve the minutes of the previous April 18, 2018 meeting was made after Commissioner Hunt
made a correction to the minutes regarding the statement acknowledging “Erin Dowell serving as
Commissioner Angela Faulk”. The correction recommendation “acknowledges Erin Dowell serving as
Commissioner Angela Faulk’s proxy”. The correction was made. Next, the minutes were motioned for
approval by Commissioner Hunt and seconded by Commissioner Julie Mendez Achee.
Chairwoman’s Remarks
Commissioner Angela Faulk acknowledges that she is serving as ad hoc chair for Chairwoman Jacobson in
her absence.

• Announces the next scheduled meeting date of June 29, 2018 based on the recent poll. The
EEOC/FEPA training conference is June 25-28, 2018 in San Antonio and the commission
meeting is still scheduled for the confirmed date.
