I I think it does start with the annual reporting that is done through the state auditor's office each year here in the state of Washington. Um the annual report for the preceding or the fall yeah preceding year is due May 30th of each year. Um so I would make sure from city leadership to the city council I would check in in those early months of the year to make sure that you are on track to hit that deadline. Um, part of keeping on track to do that would be reconciling your bank accounts each month. Um, so that's one of the first things that I've I've jumped into and and noticed some some things that we're we're working through to get back on on track. Um, but if if you're reconciling your bank account each month and you're reconciling it between the check registers and everything that's entered into the financial system, then in theory, putting all the pieces in place to do your annual reporting should be pretty straightforward and it's about collecting everything. Um, but a part of that annual reporting is reporting on your federal and state spending. And so at that time, staff would have been able to identify that that money was in fact already spent and then make the necessary arrangements to make sure all the requirements are met and then do the annual reporting um for these specific funds. >> Thank you. >> Welcome. >> Any other questions for Adam? Go ahead, councelor Sati, and then I'll come to councelor Vasquez. >> You said um the bank accounts should be reconciled m …
