Our invocation will be by Pastor Trent Gann, First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven, and our Pledge of Allegiance by Commissioner Moore. Let's pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to you this morning grateful to wake up in a free land. God, thank you for the celebration we've had for 250 years of your grace on this land. And Father, we pray today that we would steward that grace well . Father, we thank you for those who have put themselves forward to serve this county. And God, we pray for our leaders as you've told us to do, God. Father, I pray your blessing on them and on their families. God, I pray your provision for those things that no one but them and their families know about that they need. God, would you show yourself and your grace in the midst of their families . God, give them your peace. And Father, we pray for your wisdom. You tell us that we can ask and you're not going to chastise us for asking for wisdom. God, we need that. Father, we pray for our county. Father, we pray that we would be a county that would honor you. And God, we pray for your continued hand on us. God, may you bless us and keep us. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of this day and for the privilege of living and serving in this wonderful county. We're grateful for the blessings that you've poured out upon our community, for our families, our businesses, our schools, our churches, and Lord, for the natural beauty that surrounds us. Wisdom to rest upon these commissioners and all who serve in leadership. Your word says, if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally. Grant them clarity in every discussion, discernment in every decision, and the courage to do what is right, even when it's difficult. Help them to lead with integrity, humility, and a genuine desire to serve the people entrusted to their care. May every decision made today promote justice, strengthen our community, and contribute to the flourishing of future generations. We also pray for the citizens of Bay County.
