Those members in attendance, Chairman John McLaughlin called the meeting to order
at 9 AM, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Board reviewed the minutes from the previous Quarterly Board Meeting, and a
motion was made (Fred Williams) and seconded (Paul Brunet) to approve the minutes
as written.
II- Complaints
C-26-002 Martin v. Voet LHI#11432– Dismissed– no probable cause
C-26-003 LSBHI v. Dempsey LHI#10903- Tabled to the September Board Meeting

The Board reviewed and approved the following education provider applications:
Kevin Dinkel LHI#10050– In-Field Trainer – 6-0 vote

Legislative update- Attorney Albert Nicaud discussed HB267 – a bill revising the Board’s
membership structure, including term limits and appointment procedures. The bill had
formally passed and was awaiting the Governor's signature. Once signed, it will take
effect Aug, 1, 2026.
