The commission instructed the city manager to prepare a sales‑tax ballot question for the Aquatic Center/Pool and Bandshell project. It directed staff to use a shared‑cost approach for the off‑street parking bay at 308 and 318 W. Central Ave, following existing policy. Commissioners assigned themselves to their 2026 boards and committees, and the meeting was adjourned by a 4‑0 vote.

City Commission

The commission will approve several routine items, including work session and special meeting minutes. It will grant 2026 cereal malt beverage licenses to Sunny Stop locations on W. Central Avenue and E. Central Avenue. Commissioners will consider a finance agreement with Frontier Development, LLC and El Dorado Inc. for rehabilitation of 124 S. Main Street. They will also review Agreement No. 1179-25 for a KDOT surface preservation project.
