County Assessor Svor reported that the average estimated market value in Kandiyohi County
increased by 4-6% for the 2026 assessment year. This increase also impacts the taxable
values.
• The total estimated market value for the City of Kandiyohi for 2026 is $37,902,000, up
from $36,729,700 in 2025 an increase of $1,172,300.
• The total estimated value of new construction for 2026 within the City was $51,300 and
was $72,800 for 2025.
• There were five property sales within the city limits in 2025 with a total assessed value
of $807,700 and a total adjusted purchase price total of $926,775.
