Town of Kent, NY
Dear Supervisor McGlasson, July 15, 2026
Municipal Solar Partners (MSP) has been happy to partner with the Town of Kent, NY to support

project cost estimates for indicative purposes only.
We are writing this letter to the Town to summarize the project economic estimates provided in
the Phase 1 Report and to propose a project consultation fee model to the Town if you choose
to utilize MSP as a project management consultant as the project moves forward.
Project Economic Estimates
MSP identified two feasible solar sites on town-owned property — the Highway Department Main

Vehicle for possible sale
From Municipal Repairs <

Date Thu 8/13/2026 8:41 AM
To Richard Othmer <
[email protected]>
Good morning Rich,
The highway department has a 2015 Kenworth hauling tractor VIN#1XKZDPOXXFJ423256
This vehicle was previously used to haul sand for your salt sand winter road mixture. As you
are now several years into running chemically enhanced salt, the truck has seen less and less
road usage. It may suit the town's best interest to sell while it is still in a good enough
condition to draw significant value at auction. The surplus funds could be used to address
several trucks in need of severe engine repairs and rebuilds.
Thank you,
Matt Kiernan
