We're going to go ahead and reconvene the Board of Supervis ors, letting the agenda show that all supervisors are present with the exception of Supervisor Glenn Church, who will be arriving a little bit later. And we'll let the record show that Supervisor Daniels arrived briefly after closed session started. But we will have a full house later today. We'll welcome our Spanish interpretation services by Diego Salas. Diego, are you with us? Diego Salas: Great. Thank you so much. Would you please stand and join me in the Pledge of Alleg iance? I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, and other God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. All right. Are there any additions or corrections from our Clerk this morning? There are none. There are none. All right. We can move right along to ceremonial resolutions. We have a couple ceremonial resolutions today, item number two and three. Both will be presented. Is there any public comment on our ceremonial resolutions? Seeing none, we'll bring it back to the board. We have a motion from Alejo. Second. A second from Lopez. All in favor? Aye. All right. Passes unanimously. And we'll proceed with our presentations. Thanks. All right. Here we go. All right. We got sound, everybody. Good morning. It is my honor to recognize a very special and dedicated group of individuals who made some amazing things happen here for the last several weeks. As we all know, th …

Thank you. Perfect. Exactly. So it's not like a giant ruin, just... All right. Perfect. All right. We're going to call to order this meeting of the CIC, or Capital and Improvement Committee, of County Monterey Board of Supervisors. Let the record reflect that both members of this body are present, officially calling us to order. I'm going to go ahead and see if there's any additions or corrections to this agenda. There are none. All right. Seeing none, we're going to open our general public comment period. This is an opportunity for the public to share comments regarding items not on this agenda, but under the purview of this body. And we invite folks to use the raise hand function via Zoom or to come forward in room. If you're joining us via Zoom, via a landline, we ask that you star nine in order to raise your hand to be recognized. We'll have two minutes per speaker. Seeing no hands going up online. Nobody coming forward in room. We'll close our public comment period and move forward to item one on today's agenda, which is the minutes of our June 8th meeting. Supervisor, ask you any comments or questions about those? None. None on my end either. We'll go out to public comment on item one, see if there's any input. None on the comment. Seeing no hands up, we'll bring it back. Good to move those by consensus, Supervisor. Indeed. Myself as well. We'll consider item one, move and proceed to our consent agenda. Any desire to remove that item for comment or question, Supervisor? …

Good afternoon, everybody. He's on. Yes, exactly. All right. Do we have everybody else we need in the room? Ready to roll. Perfect. Let's fire this up. I'm going to call the order of this meeting of the Monterey County Cannabis Committee. This is a special meeting. Let the record show that both Supervisor Alejo and myself are present. We're kicking off here officially at 12.03. With that, I'm going to turn to staff to see if there's any additions or corrections to this agenda. There are none. All right. Seeing no additions or corrections, we're going to open our public comment period. This is an opportunity for the public to share comments regarding items not on today's agenda, but within the purview of this body. We invite folks to step forward in room or use the raise hand function via Zoom by punching star nine on the land line. It will do the same and let us know you wish to speak. I see Mr. Cummings waiting there at the dais at the podium, so we'll invite you forward and we'll give you two minutes. Thank you, Supervisors. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I'm very, very close to getting state approval, working with the different departments. One of the departments, you'll appreciate this, had a glitch in their system and they couldn't generate certificates. Well, they finally fixed the glitch. So I'm thinking that any day now we might be ready to rock and roll. I'll keep the cannabis committee posted. Thank you very much. Take care. Thank you, Mr. Cummings. …
