Canyon Senior Housing. She asked about the ordinances which the town may have
regarding bears and trash enclosures for the protection of the bears. Ms. McMillan said the
sows and cubs have moved on but now they are seeing bigger boars which are more
aggressive. Ms. McMillian said the residents at the senior housing are concerned about the
lack of enclosure for the trash bins and the bears are getting into them. Administrator

Administrator Reynolds reminded council about three months ago there was discussion
about SPEAR. Chief Curry is here tonight to give council an update. Chief Curry said since
the last discussion he has attended one SPEAR meeting with the other chiefs and there is
another one on Thursday. At the meeting there was discussion about adding more
