A regular monthly meeting of the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District was held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at
5:00p.m. at the Water District office, 1016 St. Mary Street, Thibodaux, LA
Present were: Hugh Caffery, Chairman Ernie Blanchard, Vice-Chairman
Francis Richard Gene Harrell
Greg Nolan, Secretary/Treasurer Barry Soudelier
Dale Dennis Chris Domangue
Absent were: Joe Boudreaux
Also present were: Jan Rogers; Jake Stahl; Robert Theriot; Eric Dalamore, Stantec; Shane Guin, High Tide;

Chairman Hugh Caffery began the meeting at 5:00 pm
Chairman Caffery stated that public comments can be made at any time in the regular meeting prior to action on
any agenda item upon which a vote is to be taken.
Chairman Caffery opened the floor for nominations for the slate of officers for 2026.
Commissioner Barry Soudelier nominated the current officers: Chairman Hugh Caffery , Vice-Chairman Ernie
Blanchard and Secretary-Treasurer Greg Nolan for 2026. Chairman Hugh Caffery asked for any other nominations,
and there were none.
Moved by Commissioner Barry Soudelier, seconded by Commissioner Gene Harrell and unanimously approved to
close nominations and approve Chairman Hugh Caffery, Vice -Chairman Ernie Blanchard and Secretary -Treasurer
Greg Nolan as the officers for 2026.
