Call to Order: The Village of Merrimac Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order in the Village Hall by Chairperson Nate Taylor at 7:00pm. Committee members Amy Buck and June Krbecek were present, with Tim Klecker and Jennifer Thompson absent. Also in attendance were Administrator Jennie Klecker, and members of the public, as listed on the sign-in sheet. Chairperson Taylor examined the affidavit of posting and confirmed that advance public notice of the meeting conformed to statutory requirements. Item 2. Public Input: Bob Pfaff of Green Merrimac updated the committee on the progress of the native planting demo plot at Memorial Park, and the groups plan to trim the crab apple tree. Item 3. Community Survey Development: The committee brainstormed survey question ideas and formats for the community park survey. They will have a printed survey available for interested residents to fill out during the April 7th Spring Election at Village Hall. Village Board to review 2025 Chamber report, approve $31,965 in bills

The Village Board will consider paying $31,965.90 in outstanding bills, hear a 2025 review and 2026 proposed expenditures from the Sauk Prairie Chamber of Commerce, and discuss creating a policy handbook for village staff. Other items include an operator's permit for Mac's Pub & Grub, wastewater treatment performance, and employee compensation.

Village Trustees Collin Bourgeois, Margaret Budde, Stan Senger, and Nate Taylor were present. Also in attend ance were Administrator Klecker and members of the public, as listed on the sign-in sheet.
