January 9 Village Board
The Merrimac Village Board will review a consent agenda, pay outstanding bills totaling over $600,000, and consider an original alcohol beverage license application for Olson Properties of Merrimac, LLC. The board will also discuss street opening permits, welcome sign improvements, and reports from the Director of Public Works and Administrator.

The Village Board approved an Original Alcohol Beverage License for Class "B" Beer and "Class B" Liquor for Olson Properties of Merrimac, LLC at 327 Palisade Street, and exempted the business from Ordinance No. 2023-05-01 Continuation of Business for 12 months to allow renovations. The board also approved the consent agenda, payment of monthly bills, and a letter of support for the Sauk Prairie Child Care Center with no financial donation. A street opening and ROW permit application was tabled to the February meeting for further research.
