CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Reynolds called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The invocation was given by Mr. McRea, and the
Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chairman Reynolds.
Mr. Jones recognized Mr. Sedberry, a Montgomery County resident with twenty-five years of experience in
commercial construction management and fifteen years in agriculture and thanked him for stepping forward to
serve the community.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Reynolds moved to approve the minutes of the May 26, 2026 meeting. The motion was seconded by
Mr. McRea and carried 5-0 vote.

Edgar Miller, Executive Director of Yadkin Riverkeeper, is present this evening to provide information regarding the
proposed expansion of the Waterkeeper Alliance Jurisdiction.
Yadkin Riverkeeper was founded in 2008 by Friends of the Yadkin Pee Dee and currently has 300 members and a 16-
member Board of Directors. Their mission is to protect and enhance the Yadkin River, its lakes, and its tributaries.
The proposed expansion includes a portion of the Rocky River Watershed located in Stanly County, as well as the Little
River and Uwharrie River watersheds in western Randolph County and central/eastern Montgomery County. The

Chairman Reynolds called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The invocation was given by Mr. McRea, and the
Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chairman Reynolds.
Mr. Jones recognized Mr. Sedberry, a Montgomery County resident with twenty-five years of experience in
commercial construction management and fifteen years in agriculture and thanked him for stepping forward to
serve the community.

Chairman Reynolds moved to approve the minutes of the May 26, 2026 meeting. The motion was seconded by
Mr. McRea and carried 5-0 vote.
