City Council

The council will consider a resolution to increase appropriations for the current fiscal year. They will also vote on an ordinance to combine the Public Works and Public Utilities departments. Additionally, the meeting includes a session for the Sandy City Redevelopment Agency regarding their 2027 tentative budget.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission will hold a preliminary site plan review for a dual Outback Steakhouse and Bonefish Grille restaurant at 11114 S. State St. They will also reconsider conditions of approval for the Brand Estates subdivision at 285 East 11000 South. Administrative items include approving meeting minutes and electing a chair for the second half of 2026.

City Council

The council will hold a continued public hearing and vote on adopting the FY2026-27 city budget and the Alta Canyon Recreation District budget, including fee changes. They will also consider an ordinance merging the Public Works and Public Utilities departments, approve a budget amendment for the current fiscal year, and authorize an interlocal agreement with Salt Lake County for traffic signal installation. Additionally, the mayor recommends appointing Martin Jensen as Chief Administrative Officer.
