I have had a lot of stuff that show up. Everything is going into my junk email. Have you guys noticed that? I haven't. I have like six resident things I was just looking at. All of these two cities and towns. Post you now? It just started like a week or two ago. It's like there's this. I see something in there right now. We're going to do a new firewall. But it is catching more stuff. Yeah. Oh. Yeah. And that might be a good one. I just reach that. What if it's not? I just resend it to citizen comment. That's Sandy. Yeah. We didn't want this. That should do it. If it's coming from me, channels are filtered. I go through and see. It's like all the ULCTs. We don't designate those filters. They have my name on the president's email. I'm saying a much better. Council, I'm going to go ahead. I'm going to go ahead and start the Zoom just so you guys know it is recording. Okay. Zoom is starting. Just so folks online can join. Recording in progress. Hi Ryan, welcome to the party. Okay. I even CC'd myself and got it. It must be our new army fire. It's all sent Hawaiian carbon copies. Is that why? No. So who was the original? You BCC'd who? I BCC'd everybody. Oh, you BCC'd everybody. Do you have to put somebody in? No, you don't have to have an original. No? But that might be a trigger for our new. Okay. But now you know. Who's the comment? Anything from the ProtonMill you've lost? Well, the citizen comment could go to Lincoln, Nebraska. That's all I know. I'm on. All right, we're read …

Sorry, I was watching my clock here. Thank you. Good evening all. Welcome to tonight's Sandy City Council meeting. We're grateful to have those who are joining us tonight both in the chambers and online. We always like to start our meeting with a prayer, voluntary of course, and followed by a pledge. Our Father in heaven, we're thankful for this opportunity we have together as employees, residents, and those concerned about Sandy City. We're grateful for this opportunity to meet, to discuss, to deliberate together. We pray for the blessings and guidance to be with us and in all we do to make wise decisions for our residents. We're grateful for all the good things in our lives. We pray for the blessings in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. If we'll please stand and join together in saying the P ledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you, Mr. Jensen, for offering that prayer and for everyone for joining in the Pledge. We'll start with introductions over on the side with our colleagues, Council staff. Thank you, Madam Chair. Madam Chair, we're ready when you're ready. He said he would be here any minute. And Councilmember Nickel is joining virtually. Welcome, everyone. This is a Sandy City Council meeting for Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Is that me, Dustin? I know. We start all our meetings with a prayer. Do I have any volunteers to give us, to lead us in the prayer this evening? Ms. Houseman, would you like to do that? Go ahead. Our dear Father in heaven, we come before thee in gratitude for the opportunity to consult with one another, learn from one another, and serve the people of Sandy. We are grateful for our employees who serve so diligently and quietly behind the scenes in providing the services that uplift and elevate the experiences of those who live within our community. We pray for thy guiding hand to be with us. Bless us as we deliberate. Bless us as we consider new team members who will be joining us. And bless us to remember that all who serve are doing it from a place of engagement within the city and seeking to make the best decisions possible. We are grateful again for the opportunity to serve. We pray that thy guiding hand will be with us, that we will feel thy spirit in thy presence, and that we will deliberate, knowing that thou art mindful of our efforts. We pray that thou art mindful of our efforts. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, the invisible, with liberty and justice for all. All righ …

. Thank you. I won't push this start this time. I apologize. And we obviously need more time. And we don't, we have until October 1st. We don't have to take that, you know, much time. But we do have time. So I shifted down here. Okay. Did you know we were so passionate about it? No, the hard part and ultimately the city council makes it so hard. But I think it's great. You know, you're all interested in the topic. And it is a topic customers talk about all the time. And so... Customer. Development. That applicable. So customers are honored. Yeah. So as we build calls about that. That we've got three or four meetings we can do this in. Hmm. I mean, I know you got five. As many as you need, I guess. But we'll see if we can get through it today. Rest up and then we go okay. Yeah. I already went in. I suppose we'll come up. I just want to have to... I just leave them too. Pardon? What? I have no... I'm not going to be surprised at this point. Recording in progress. Well, before we get started... Sorry. I feel a bit of a cold that my voice apparently just decided to cut out. Before we get started, we're going to discuss... part two of our... accessory dwelling unit discussion that we started our last Planning Commission meeting. During our executive session. Melissa is going to lead us in that discussion. We do have a new planner that has joined our staff. That's sitting behind me here. Grant Hancock. We'll introduce you to him formally... later on in the meeting... at the end. Bu …

Madam Chair, we're ready whenever you're ready. Welcome, everyone. This is the Sandy City Council meeting for Tuesday, April 28, 2026. We have a little bit of an out of the ordinary schedule for tonight. Let me tell you what it will be. Council is receiving training on budgeting in our council mayor form of government. Then we will, after that concludes, we will be taking general citizen comment. Then we will move on to standing reports. And then finally, we have a closed session on the agenda after that. So that's the sequence of events. We start all our meetings with prayer and a pledge. Who would like to volunteer to give us the prayer for this evening? Ms. Christensen, go ahead. Our dearest Heavenly Father, we are so grateful to be gathered together as Sandy residents and the people that serve the city. Please help us to be able to understand the things that are placed before us and to take them into our budgeting process. Please bless you to make good choices that will better our city. And please bless all of the employees that they would be as safe as they are doing their jobs. We love thee and we say these things in the name of thy son , Jesus Christ. Amen. Will everyone please rise for the pledge? I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation , under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. All right. And introductions are next. Dustin, would you like to kick us off? Of course. Thank you, …
