Board to consider ballot measure to reallocate transit sales tax for bus rapid transit and other mass transit
The Board of Aldermen will introduce and discuss several ordinances, including a ballot measure to reallocate a half-cent sales tax from North-South Metrolink to broader mass transit (B.B. #59), appropriations of $26 million for transportation (B.B. #60) and $13.5 million each from two transit sales tax accounts (B.B. #52, #53), and a proposed prohibition on tax incentives for data centers (B.B. #55). They will also vote on final passage of consent items such as a street vacation and speed hump installations.

President Green called the meeting to order at 10:00am and directed the Clerk to call the roll.

The Clerk called the roll and the following members answered to their names: Ms. Schweitzer, Mr.
Oldenburg, Mr. Narayan, Mr. Devoti, Ms. Sonnier, Ms. Cox Antwi, Ms. Clark Hubbard, Ms. Tyus, Ms.

President Green called the meeting to order at 10:00am and directed the Clerk to call the roll.

The Clerk called the roll and the following members answered to their names: Ms. Schweitzer, Mr.
Oldenburg, Mr. Cohn, Mr. Narayan, Mr. Devoti, Ms. Velázquez, Ms. Sonnier, Ms. Cox Antwi, Ms.
Clark-Hubbard, Ms. Tyus, Ms. Boyd, Mr. Aldridge, and President Green. 13 members were present. A
quorum was established.
Ms. Keys and Mr. Browning arrived while the meeting was in progress, making a total of 15
members present.
