March 10, 2026 The Cedar County Commissioners met in the Boardroom of the Cedar County Courthouse at 8:30 AM and the meeting was called to order as advertised, with Mike Meier, David McGregor, and Dick Donner answering roll call. Also present, County Clerk Jessica Schmit. Chairman Donner stated the open meetings laws are posted on the wall for public inspection. Motion was made by Meier and seconded by McGregor to approve the agenda. Motion carried with a 3 to 0 vote. Minutes from the February 24, 2026 meeting were reviewed and a motion was made by McGregor and seconded by Meier to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried with a 3 to 0 vote. Monthly fee reports were reviewed and approved by the board. Zoning administrator, Tim Gobel, presented the following conditional use permits: Vertical Bridge dba Towers, LLC for a wireless communication tower 315’ tall with a 75’ perimeter fence at the base. Motion to approve the conditional use permit was made by McGregor and seconded by Meier. Motion carried with a 3 to 0 vote. Three other conditional use permits were presented to split acreages off as follows: Joey Tramp 7.19 acres, Roger Janssen 6.28 acres, Matt Potts 5.0 acres.
