The purpose of this special meeting was to formally vote on proposed fairgrounds improvements.
The projects are:

Replacing the sheep and goat barn ventilation fans.

Adding a section to the shade shelter for the Mitch and Tag Ashbeck Show Ring.

Building a new beef wash rack on the south side of the Wilkinson Arena.

Motion was made by Jaylene Papineau and seconded by Tiffany Bradley.

o Discussion about the old red tractor. There are issues with the old red
tractor. The fair board was being asked what they would like to do
with the old red tractor. The county wants to get rid of the tractor.
Should we keep it or sell it.
• Administrator Report
o There were comments and concerns about information for this year’s
fair.
o A question about the grants for the fair and when are we going to
move forward with some of the projects was asked. There are multiple
grans that we have for the fairgrounds. The larger grant we have there
is a flood mitigation process we need to go through. This process
should be happening next fiscal year.
o Two Amazon grants have been submitted. No news on this yet.
