The court unanimously approved joint primary election service contracts with both the Democratic and Republican parties for the March 3, 2026 primary. It also adopted a joint resolution and statistical information for the primary, appointed election judges, approved departmental reports, created a sub‑regional planning commission, authorized bids for the Mountain Lakes Overlay, and adopted budget adjustments. All motions passed with a 5‑0 vote.

Commissioner Court

The Erath County Commissioners Court will discuss and possibly approve several items, including the LA SOMBRA infrastructure development plan, a master software and service agreement with Vector Solutions for EMS, and a fence‑row clearing project on County Road 401. The court will also receive the 2025 racial profiling reports for the Sheriff’s Office and Constable Precinct 1, and consider the part‑time pay rate for the Agrilife Extension Office. An executive session will be held for personnel, legal, and real‑estate matters, followed by a vote on items from that session.
