[Music] welcome to our pre-meeting i will go around and see what counselors have questions or anything on counselors [Music] i have i don't have questions per se but um i'll just say that i did attend the work session last week for dr cogg and um that was helpful because we were able to get a lot of questions asked about just as we're looking at these um uh overall mitigation measures and how the state greenhouse gas roll is going to be applied um it's in essence the mitigation measures that are proposed by the state which include things like adding more providing for more dense development or um reduced parking ratios or just the number of a wide number of things they are voluntary so it's up and i think a lot of the cities in the region were kind of happy to see that they had some choice on how to apply these um with westminster being ahead of the game with a lot of these mitigation measures it was um helpful to also understand that um we wouldn't be necessarily required to go further it's just you know we we are setting a good pace for the rest of the region actually um yeah so it was um i'll shut up my phone [Laughter] your husband might need something well down the stairs uh yeah anyway so um it's more to come on that but i think that's and there's all uh there's i think a fair number of cities too that are interested in um yeah well how do we uh ensure that we're actually getting results for uh reducing our greenhouse gas and um so that's something that dr cogg and thei

you welcome everyone um this is our study session and welcome mr rich and um we'll let you go here did you have anything for pre-meeting no i do not thank you uh yes see uh i have the rmma roundtable community noise round table this morning and they i i don't know when i believe it was maybe last month um or maybe somewhere in between they decided to table the vfr study um which then brought about the which is the egress and digress and noise into and out of the airport and which brought about the discussion on the dues because the one of the main reasons that we approved the dues was for the study and for the consultant and so um it was decided that we'd keep it since we're not doing the vfr study we keep the fees currently as they are which is 3600 for the year so we'll be invoiced later this city will be invoiced later this week for 3 600 for annual dues and per the iga bylaws but the discussion is that they would like to increase dues to 12 000 and that's in my understanding perpetuity starting next year and that will help fund uh the work plan items that are approved by last meeting and uh could potentially help fund a vfr study on this noise but one of the uh consultants that they were going with um decided to back out and i think it they think it was because it was such a low number um we had about 25 000 set aside or the group had about 25 000 set aside for the consultant for facilitation and uh they ended up backing out so we lost two studies the vfr and then the fac
