provide email address), online calendar that is updated on a frequent basis, would
like a set schedule such as Saturday 9am-1PM and one day weekly.
o Players enjoy the punch card as it allows players to use as needed

other cities come to play at NPB and the wait can be several hours)

Russ Beverstein, 415 U.S. Highway 1, expressed his appreciation for the article in the newsletter
that featured former Councilmember David Norris. Mr. Beverstein recommended paying homage
with a long-term plaque, tree or bench dedicated to Mr. Norris.
Rich Pizzolato, 1618 Twelve Oaks Way, shared and discussed market dynamics that occur with
Country Club membership pricing.
President Pro Tem Bickel responded to Mr. Beverstein’s comments stating that she agreed with
providing an item of dedication to past Councilmembers or other residents who have made a
significant contribution or impact on the Village.

Public Works Director Chad Girard explained that Bowman Consulting was working for FPL.
FPL has been working on the storm secure undergrounding program which began a few years ago.
At that time the Village was told that FPL would be in the Village’s area by 2029. They have
started their initial outreach to secure easements. Mr. Girard stated that letters were received from
FPL to Public Works and there were plans and those easement requests would be brought to
Council for approval.
Discussion between Councilmembers and Mr. Girard regarding FPL’s proposed plans for
undergrounding of power lines within the Village and the next steps in the process.

John Samadi 512 Marlin Rd. congratulated Public Works and thanked the Department for all that
they were doing in the Village stating no other city or county does what the Village has been doing.
Mr. Samadi expressed his disappointment and concerns regarding the reappointment process for
Advisory Board and Committee members. Mr. Samadi expressed his concerns regarding heavy
trucks going over the Lighthouse Bridge stating that he observed and took a video of a fully loaded
Waste Management truck going over the bridge.
