School Board Meeting
The Piedmont Unified School District Board of Education will hold closed sessions to negotiate with three employee unions, then convene an open meeting to vote on a resolution calling a special tax election for June 2, 2026, to replace an existing parcel tax. The board will also consider approving facilities projects for summer 2026, joining the SPURR joint powers authority for utility rate reductions, and approving the 2024-25 financial audit. City Council Meeting
The City Council will vote on a resolution to declare portions of city-owned parcels in the Moraga Canyon Specific Plan Area as exempt surplus land. Planning Commission Meeting
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider recommending the City Council adopt Objective Design Standards for 1-4 unit housing, multifamily, mixed-use, and ADUs, along with related zoning amendments. The commission will also hold a study session on subdivision standards and small lot development as part of the Expanding Housing Options Initiative. Additionally, there is a public hearing on code amendments to align ADU and JADU regulations with state laws, and action on design review permits for properties at 21 Cambridge Way and 701 Blair Avenue.
