January 20, 2026 Regular Meeting of the Board of Education

Regular Meeting of the Board of Education

The board approved a $2,000,000 settlement for litigation case File No. 12-324 and ordered the expulsion of two students, with one expulsion suspended. It also passed resolutions recognizing January 17 as All About the Children Day in honor of Dr. Margaret Hill and January 19 as Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The board adjourned to closed session for anticipated litigation, existing litigation, labor negotiations, and student discipline matters.
