Board of Education Special Meeting

Board approves $4.47M in teacher and admin contracts

The Kodiak Island Borough School District Board of Education approved FY26 contracts for non-tenured teachers totaling $2,757,101 and administrative contracts totaling $1,715,662.20. The board also approved a leave of absence request for teacher Katie Wallace for the 2025-2026 school year. All votes were unanimous except Vice President Jim Pryor was not present for the votes on the contracts and leave.
