The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jacob Wix at 2:00PM at the Watson Government Complex
Administration Building, in the Board of Commissioners’ Conference Room. Chairman Wix proceeded by
explaining this is a recommending body and any action taken today will be forwarded to the Board of
Commissioners for final approval. The Paulding County Board of Commissioners’ next meeting will be
August 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Applicant and interested parties will need to be in attendance for consideration.
Policy and Procedures states applicants and anyone speaking on behalf of the application will have fifteen
(15) minutes to make their presentation and any opposition will also have fifteen minutes to present. The
fifteen minutes are cumulative for each side. All comments are to be addressed to the Chairman.

CALL TO ORDER: The Paulding County Board of Tax Assessors held its regular meeting on Wednesday,
July 1, 2026, at the Watson Government Complex, Room 3082, Dallas, Georgia.
Chairman Johnny McBurrows called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

PRESENT: In attendance were Chairman Johnny McBurrows, Vice-Chairman Ben Amerson,
