Stacy needs the final approval of the commissioners for the quarterly
claim for funding for INDOT finances. She currently oversees the
finances for Cass Co and Miami Co. She recapped that last quarter
the new process was implemented where the BOC signed off their
approval, 2 checks were written by the Auditor's office, and Cass Co
received their check and the Miami Co YMCA received theirs. The
quarterly reimbursement amount is listed as $162,765.00.

Probation Office Window Repair
On July 21, 2026, a rock kicked up by a car on Court Street struck and cracked the
probation office door window.
The glass was temporarily secured with Gorilla Tape.
A repair quote of $620 was received from Complete Glass.

and passed 3-0 to authorize Complete Glass to proceed with the repair.

grants, and restore the museum’s community outreach role.

Membership fees increased 21% year-over-year, totaling $5,300.
A $500 anonymous donation funded a new LED ticker and printed
brochures.
Marketing and Community Engagement:
New brochures will be placed at high-traffic locations to attract visitors.
Exploring cost-effective advertising via publications, travel guides, and
digital outreach.
Recent engagement: YMCA kids fair; joined the |-69/24 Corridor Group to

e Tile work on 950 East and 1400 South is complete, with paving

« The department is managing four bridge projects with federal aid and
CCMG money.
e Utility, road cut, and driveway permits are now available online.
e Chad Watson requested to roll over his 60 hours of unused vacation
time through the end of the year. Commissioner Horner made a

= Anthony Spahr, attorney for petitioners, stated the applicants would like to withdraw their

Highway Superintendent’s Time Off: A request was made to
change Highway Superintendent Chad Watson’s April time off
from comp time to vacation time. He had accumulated the comp
time as a foreman before his promotion to an exempt
superintendent role, where he is no longer eligible to earn it. The
request is to preserve his comp time for fall use and use
vacation time for a past trip.
Conclusion: Chad Watson has resolved the issue with Auditor
Phillippo, and no further discussions are warranted.
