The Grand County Commission met in a budget workshop and regular meeting on October 6th, 2026.
The meeting was held in-person in the Grand County Commission Chambers, with hybrid virtual
participation also available via Zoom. It was also broadcast and saved on YouTube. Attending the
budget workshop were Commission Chair Melodie McCandless, Commission Vice-Chair Bill Winfield,
and Commissioners Jacques Hadler, Mike McCurdy, Brian Martinez and Trisha Hedin. Commissioner
Mary McGann attended the budget workshop and regular meeting virtually and was absent following
the closed session. Commissioner McCurdy joined the regular meeting shortly after it was called to
order. Also attending were County Attorney Stephen Stocks, Commission Administrator Mark Tyner,
Clerk/Auditor Gabriel Woytek and Finance Director Chantel Lindsay.

Woytek presented year-to-date sales and use tax collections of $14.16 million against the amended
