Mayor Sauter called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm After Flag Salute Councilman Bider the April meeting will be first reading of the 2026 Municipal Budget. This is the final week of Pre-K registration. Councilman D’Angelo opening day is April 11 th, the parade is at 11:00 am. Being tonight is the 100th Anniversary meeting I like to share with you all that Bellmawr has had 17 Mayors and 100 Members of Council. According to research March 15, 1926 meeting was held in a School House, Mayor Fred Collett was the first Mayor of Bellmawr. After 1 year in office all members of council were replaced, there are no reports as to why. One last thing the School Board’s first resolution 1926 call for an election to stay in Center Township Councilman Evans Community Garden meeting was last Thursday, thank you to Karen --- from Camden County for attending and sharing information with everyone. Mayor Sauter called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm After Flag Salute Mayor Sauter asked everyone to remain standing for a moment of silence for a moment of silence for a former Member of our Police Department. Sergeant Ted Jeffers passed away on Sunday at the age of 100. Mr. Jeffers was to be the Grand Marshall for the 4th of July Parade and honored at our 100th Anniversary Celebration on June 13th. Councilman Bider The Annual Financial Statement is being worked on at the present time and is due March 10 th. The Finance Committee and the CFO have been working on the 2026 Budget will be completed early spring and presented. Thank you to Public Works, EMS, Police, Fire for the excellent job that everyone performed. It has been a tough month of Snow. Councilman D’Angelo The Recreation Committee has so far met with the Purple Eagles, Bellmawr Baseball, and Girls’ Softball all good meetings. We are now scheduling with Bellmawr Hockey for their meeting. I also eco Councilman Bidder’s remarks, thanks everyone regarding the snowstorms. Approval of Caucus Meeting January 13, 2026 Motion D’Angelo second Bider all in favor Motion passed Nick Bishop, Borough Engineer stated he would rely on his written report he highlighted on a few: Grant update NJDCA announced application period for FY 2026 Local Recreation Improvement Grant (LRIG) funding. Applications are due February 13th, our office will submit an application for all abilities, accessible playground equipment at Sauter Park. Steven Bach suggested to break up the application as it is highly competitive. There is a max out of $75,000 they will make smaller applications to total amount. Nick continued stating their office has resubmitted requests to the Camden County Engineer for their consideration on the crosswalks and striping & signage installation. Councilman Wilhelm stated looking to do these projects inhouse. Mayor asked where these locations would be, Steve advised Sullivan and E.
