Ferriday Downtown Entertainment District
Quarterly Meeting- January 6, 2026
Board Members Present: C. Travis Johnson, Brooke Roberts, Brittney V. Scott, Ashley Skipper, Sandra Pryor & Ahren Williams
Board Member Absent: Shaun Davis
The meeting was called to order at 3:00pm by Representative Johnson. The prayer was led by Ahren Williams. The roll was called, and a quorum was present to conduct business.
The minutes from October’s meeting were reviewed. There were no corrections, and a motion was made by Sandra Pryor and 2nd by Ashley Skipper to approve the minutes from the October’s meeting.
A motion was made to open the floor for nominations for Vice-Chair for the Ferriday Downtown Entertainment District. Shaun Davis resigned from the position effective December 31, 2025. Ashley Skipper made a motion to nominate Ahren Williams as Vice-Chair. This nomination was 2nd by Sandra Pryor and the vote was unanimous to accept Ahren Williams as the new Vice-Chair of the Ferriday Downtown Entertainment District.
New Business:
CPA Engagement Resolution
Motion to engage Martin & Pellegrin as the CPA firm for FDED; this CPA firm is on the state-approved list for CPA and auditing, and their cost is $8000 yearly
Motion made by Ahren Williams and 2nd by Brooke Roberts
Bank Signature
Removal of Shaun Davis as signer due to his resignation and adding Vice-Chair Ahren Williams and Director Sharina Mays to the signature card at Delta Bank with two signatures required
