1. Lana Nimri (12906 Island Falls Ct, Houston, TX 77041): Spoke regarding SUP-2026-02; Stated in
opposition of approving the application, believes that increased visibility of tobacco and vaping products
where children & teenagers live can make them want to try it out; That businesses centered around these
products can normalize smoking & vaping for younger generations; well documented nature of nicotine and
the public health concerns associated with this type of use. Valuable commercial space like this should be
used for businesses that provide everyday services or help for families & teenagers instead of making them
addicted to harmful products. If City keeps approving businesses like this, sets the stage for other addictive
types of businesses like adult stores, adult video or poker store; Asks for Commission to deny the
application & to consider what value a smoke shop can add to the kids, teenagers, and children.
