Appointment: Jennifer Van Pelt of 350 Brattleboro Rd came to discuss her land’s impact on the
valuation of her property. She expressed concerns about the water on her
property which she notes as wetlands and attributes it to the drainage that has
been installed over the years by the Town. She wanted the Assessors to make an
adjustment based upon her research of wetland plants, etc. As wetlands are not

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:12 PM.
Minutes: Bob DePalma moved to approve the Minutes of June 1ST. Erik Johnson seconded.
Passed unanimously.
Real Estate: Warrants to Collect-The remaining part of the Preliminary Fiscal Year 2027 tax
bills are ready to be warranted. The amount for Real Estate is as follows:
• Real Estate $ 929,785.87
Erik Johnson moved to approve the FY27 Warrant to Collect as previously
listed. Kenny Spatcher seconded. Passed unanimously.

Motor Vehicle: Abatements-The following people submitted MV abatement applications with
supporting documentation for 2026.

• Bruce Zimmerman $ 71.53
Kenny Spatcher moved to approve the previously listed abatements. Bob DePalma
seconded. Passed unanimously.
Other Business: Jennifer Van Pelt of 350 Brattleboro Rd would like to meet with the Assessors to
discuss her land’s impact on the valuation of her property. Two of the Assessors
have been to the trailer, but the Board agreed to set aside 15+ minutes to hear
her concerns. The date of June 29th at 6:00 PM was decided and Alice will send
her a note on that.
