Borough Council
The East McKeesport Borough Council will consider several motions, including joining the Western Pennsylvania Energy Consortium for collective energy procurement, hiring a part-time police officer, and advertising new ordinances governing waste receptacle times and an employee handbook. Borough Council
At the May 14, 2025 meeting, the East McKeesport Borough Council will consider two reimbursable payments totaling $32,985 to Sports and Recreation Associates for the Chicora Street Park project. The council will also vote on a motion to advertise Ordinance #986, which amends the police department's rank structure. Additional agenda items include approving Verizon Wi-Fi installation at the senior building for $69/month, ratifying prepaid bills of $35,082.19, and approving TCVCOG by-law amendments and continued membership.

Borough Council
The Borough Council will consider several resolutions at its April 9, 2026 meeting, including renaming a resolution establishing attorney's costs for delinquent tax collection and another for participating in a community development block grant program. They will also vote on enacting a resolution naming the Tribune-Review as the official newspaper, authorizing advertisement of the Ice Plant Hill Phase II Project, and ratifying prepaid bills totaling $21,761.02.
