Presenting the information were Melissa Musselwhite, Director of Student Support Programs and Services, and Robin Hawk, Supervisor. Additionally, Mike Rogers, Discipline Coordinator, who has played an integral role in the development of the proposed revisions, was also in attendance.

Superintendent Legg opened the workshop by stating that the Board had an opportunity to review a proposal to expand K–8 options on the east side of the county. He noted that, unlike previous K–8 conversions that were primarily driven by financial considerations and usage of facilities, this proposal is driven by academic priorities. Superintendent Legg emphasized that the proposal is not intended as a cost-saving measure, although any resulting efficiencies could be reinvested in students and academics. 1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Colleen Beaudoin, with the welcome and reading of the vision statement.
Vice Chairman Hernandez shared the thought for the day, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
