He noted that, unlike previous K–8 conversions that were primarily driven by financial considerations and usage of facilities, this proposal is driven by academic priorities. Superintendent Legg emphasized that the proposal is not intended as a cost-saving measure, although any resulting efficiencies could be reinvested in students and academics. 1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Colleen Beaudoin, with the welcome and reading of the vision statement.
Vice Chairman Hernandez shared the thought for the day, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
