City Council approves FY 2026‑2027 budget and several annexation and bond items
The Kannapolis City Council adopted its agenda and approved a consent agenda that included budget amendments for the Bethpage Road sidewalk, the Insurance and Risk Fund, and the CDBG program, as well as a Parks GO Bond agreement and a curb‑ramp contract. The council then passed the FY 2026‑2027 budget ordinance, a second amendment to the interlocal agreement with the City of Concord, and approved public‑hearing annexations on South Chapel Street and Davidson Highway. A GO Bond introduction and resolution were also adopted.
