? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? from what I gather is. Not sure we report kinda late on it, from and that meeting with the city manager yesterday and she informed me that have already allocated for the proposed budget. $25,000 for Beautification Committee. So we can ask for 50 100. You might well ask for it. 2 million, but we're going get 25. And that also my understanding is we're not committed the $25,000 for treason exclusively as we were last year. Also was informed the order to qualify for Tree City, we do not have to spend $25,000 on trees. We have to spend $25,000 towards trimming be placing trees, new trees or anything else that has to do, including the maintenance that. The counselors with us today, Counselor Gray, Schwan, Henry and Champagne are honoring us by attending this meeting. We have three members of the committee who are online and I would like a motion to allow those three people, which would be Scherzeniger, McFann and Fontana, and the three of them could participate online. Do I have a motion for that? So moved. I'll move that, but I'd also like to make a comment. Since we have four present members, I think based upon the last council meeting, it's important for us to have it on the record that Chris's position was vacated based upon the ordinance. Even though the counselors chose to disregard that, the ordinance still stands. And there's nothing that I see in the ordinance that gives the counselors or the city manager allowance to arbitrarily decide that a member who doesn't meet the criteria of the ordinance continue. So just for the record. We'll address that. I'd appreciate all who are able to please stand for the P ledge of Allegiance. I'll pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Just for the record, I'm sorry to interrupt, Chair. I don't think you completed the motion to allow us to participate virtually. Okay. Thanks for bringing it. We have a second. All in favor. Second, five percent. Aye. Any opposed, like sign. So you three are approved. And thank you for joining that meeting. And just b …

*music* Well good evening everybody it is Monday July 6th and welcome to the regularly scheduled Mark Weiland City Council meeting. *music* along with the whole island, visitors, guests, full-time residents. But when it came time for the fireworks, which was spectacular this year, if you saw them, grand finale was wonderful. Beach had everybody out there being respectful and enjoying themselves. But some folks helped make it possible for us. Laura Bauer and her whole yoga clients and club had donated $250. We appreciate them. And you can hold your applause until the end of this. The Hilton, Mark Wilden Hilton, was kind enough to donate $ 5,000 towards the fireworks. We have the Marco Island Civic Association. MICA, as we know them, donated $5,000. And the JW Marriott also kicked in. And they were kind enough to donate $10,000 to the fireworks. So we thank everybody who helped make that financially possible. Looking forward to seeing all these wonderful donors next year. On a positive, we'll try to move this meeting along because the United States, are they playing Belgium tonight? Round of 16. So let's wish the best for our American team. Fought hard to get here. So we'll see how that goes. I would say a little more, maybe not somber, but on another note I need to share. Hayward Boyce, some of you may or may not know this name. And I want to thank our city clerk, Joan Taylor, for highlighting this for us. I remember a counselor. I was a counselor. And that was 2002 to 2004. H …

I guess it's warm down there in Florida. So I woke up today, it was thundering and lightning and raining here on the East Coast, so that's a cool way to start the day. Yeah. You don't see many of those cool days. Nope. And I see Linda and Phyllis, I think, there. I thought I saw Rod get up and move. We're ready to begin. Good morning. Good morning, everyone, and welcome to today's July 2nd Hideaway Beach Tax District Board meeting. Kristen, could you call the roll, please? Member Bartow? Here. Member Zinken? Here. Member Schreiber? Here. Member Ramirez? And Chair Ryan? Thank you, Kristen. We'll do the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States and America, and to the Republic, for what just stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, for liberty and justice for all. Our Pledge of Allegiance has special meaning this morning as we approach our 250th anniversary in a couple of days here. So it's terrific. We have two members, Member Zinken and Member Bartow, participating remotely. So I'd like to have a motion to approve their remote participation and voting ability. Motion. Okay. I'll do a second. Okay. Motion by Member Schreiber, seconded by Member Ramirez. All in favor? Aye. Passes unanimously. Okay. Next is approval of the agenda. Does anyone have any changes to the agenda as currently presented? Not hearing any from the team here, I'm going to make one change due to scheduling here and move our financial discussion on the budget and mill rate …
