The Copperas Cove Planning and Zoning Commission approved two final plats for new residential subdivisions, elected new officers, and approved the previous meeting's minutes. Both plat approvals were unanimous. The commission also elected Eddie Cisneros as Chairperson and Robert Endter as Vice-Chairperson by a 4-1 vote.

City Council Regular

The Copperas Cove City Council will hold a regular meeting on July 21, 2026. The Copperas Cove City Council voted 6-1 to deny the previously authorized Church Mountain Development and Annexation Agreement with WBW Single Development Group, LLC - Series 144 and WBW Investment Solutions, LLC - Series 011 for 310.07 acres along Lutheran Church Road and west of Summers Road. The council also approved a Conditional Use Permit for a short-term rental at 208 Appaloosa Drive, granted a water utility cost waiver for the Allin House through the lease term with review in February 2027, and approved resolutions on a TWDB grant application, TIRZ #2 board appointments, and revised Vision and Mission Statements. All other items, including the consent agenda, passed unanimously.
