Other members present include Cecil Mosher, Heather Weber, Rachel Haugrud, Stacy Honer and John Reber. Guests present include Diane Kunze, Rita Olson, Shane Balken and Trevor Hone. 2.0 Old Business 2.1 Event Reports  5K: Nikki Thorson sent a report that there were 26 runners. They would like more next year but feel they have a good base to build from. They did make some purchases of basic signage. Overall feel it went well.  3-on-3: They would have liked more teams. Felt earlier advertising would have helped. Suggested we loop in the Booster Club for more advertising in the future. The kids did seem to enjoy themselves and all expenses were covered.  Breakfast: Profit of approximately $800 was made with one more invoice pending. Overall went well.  Kiddie Pedal Pull: Rita Olson reported that they had 48 kids participate which is 16 more from last year which is a sizable increase. For next year she suggested making the start time/registration time clearer.  Co-ed Softball: Four teams, tournament went well, ended around 2:30 pm. Reports of multiple teams wanting to take part next year.  Parade: Parade numbers seemed down, unsure if anyone reached out to nearby towns or organizations. Rodeo Grounds Development Purchase Agreement: Discussion regarding the terms surrounding the prospective land purchase of the former rodeo grounds. Discussion included terms of special assessments for the installation of a road and well and sewer requirements. Parties will bring more specific road construction costs to the July meeting, as well as the preferred length of special assessments for final consideration. The city also expressed interest in seeing a full amortization schedule. Street Repair Project: Review of financing options for street paving project of 5-year, 7-year, and 10-year repayment terms. After discussion, a motion was made by M. Balken to proceed with the Stockgrowers’ financing of $170,000 for 7 years for the street paving project utilizing Tri-State Paving. Currently four teams are slated for tournament. Mosher has a fifth team likely to sign up. The tournament will be providing bats.  Bingo: Pam Iverson and her husband will be calling Bingo. They are all set. Opehoven  3 on 3 BB Tournament has been confirmed and will be lead by Hone and Heier.  Movie at the FB Field may need to be left out of this year’s events. Park Region no longer has the outdoor movie set up. The school district will allow us to use the performance gym if we wish, but hosting the movie outdoors may be an issue without a quality projection set up due to lighting.  Bean bag tournament is still looking for a lead. Prairie Chix is not interested in hosting this event.
