And we'll have a moment of silence in memory of Judy Chang Hopkins. She was a resident of Hartsdale, the United Nations Assistant Secretary General, in charge of refugees all over the world. She dedicated her life to her family and her long career at the United Nations. When Judy Beville was a clerk, she spoke to the interns, the summer interns, you know, more than once. She met with everyone who I ever -- many students who were interested in careers in diplomacy, introduced them to people at the United Nations. And she was just a wonderful human being. I think Esquire magazine said she was the top female leader at the United Nations. And when you spoke to her, you felt that she was really just like an average person. You know, she was so modest and humble and really caring. And her husband was a member of our ethics board in Green berg. But, you know, they're really total role models and miss her a lot. And in memory of those around the world who have perished as victims of war, a disease, and natural disaster, our hearts are with all those who needlessly suffer. Thank you. All right. I read about them in the River Journal because over the past two years, they've hosted charitable benefits to deal with climate change. They've raised over $7,000 through donations and ticket sales. And right now they're only in eighth grade. But they did all of this when they were in seventh grade before. So they donated money to the Wildlife Conservation Society, which is headquarters in the Bronx Zoo. And they're dedicated to saving wildlife and saving wildlife around the globe. So as you can see up on the screen, the Veterans Recognition Barbecue is coming up Thursday, September 17th. It's free to veterans. The spouses of deceased veterans can also attend with a guest. And all you need to do is call the town supervisor's office and register. The register is only for an RSVP so our chefs can maintain a head count of the number of meals they need to prepare. So again, for any veteran and family of veterans that did not get notified, we are aware of some issues with our mailing list and our e -list and we're trying to correct that. But I wanted to thank the board for giving me a quick opportunity tonight to address that and to personally invite any veteran and their families to attend. These are the vehicles used by our, they actually will be used by our civilian parametric supervisors to respond to calls when necessary, tech calls, supervise EMS personnel. Because what I'm really having an issue with is I'm seeing this Ford, this Prius, this Highlanders, this , you know, and it's going to be impossible for our repair shop to keep parts for all these different cars. And so what we need to do is to standardize on whatever cars there are as best we can. Right. And quite often we're looking to acquire what we need while still being fiscally responsible.
