Greenburgh Board Set to Act on $5.165M Sewer Repair, Reject $24–29M Bypass; Minutes Not Yet Published
Greenburgh's Town Board had a busy late July, with a postponed work session, a regular meeting carrying several high-dollar resolutions, and an Antenna Review Board session on wireless facility proposals. However, minutes have not yet been published for any of these meetings, so it is not confirmed which agenda items were actually voted on or decided. What follows is based on the published agendas only.
$5.165M Sewer Repair and $24–29M Bypass Rejection on the Table
The most consequential item on the July 22 regular Town Board meeting agenda was a resolution to authorize a $5.165 million sanitary sewer repair at 100 East Hartsdale Avenue, while rejecting a more expensive bypass proposal estimated at $24–29 million. Whether the board adopted this resolution cannot be confirmed without published minutes.
The same meeting agenda included a resolution to retain the law firm Cozen O'Connor for village incorporation review at an additional $100,000, bringing the total to $500,000. A decision on the use of limited immunity for improvements to the Odell House Rochambeau Headquarters at 425 Ridge Road was also listed.
Public Hearings: Battery Storage, Sewer Districts, Site Plans
The July 22 regular meeting agenda included several public hearings:
- A local law establishing a Battery Energy Storage System PILOT (payment-in-lieu-of-taxes) program.
- Two sewer district extension hearings.

That agenda also included discussion of 540 White Plains Road, discussion of backdoor pickup for paper and commingled waste, and a dedication to Eddie Mae Barnes.

Antenna Review Board: T-Mobile/Crown Castle Proposals
On July 29, the Antenna Review Board was scheduled to review proposals from Lauren Berg, Northeast Region Permitting and Utilities Manager, for T-Mobile/Crown Castle Fiber wireless facilities at two sites: 35 Sprain Valley Road and 55 Jackson Avenue. The meeting was set for in-person attendance at Greenburgh Town Hall with a Zoom option. No minutes have been published.
