Administrative Zoning Hearing
The Zoning Administrator will review two development requests. Staff recommends approving a five-year extension for LinkedIn’s Phase 2 office project near East Middlefield Road. The hearing will also consider a conditional use permit for a dog daycare at 1132 Independence Avenue. Public comment is allowed on both proposals.

City Council

Administrative Zoning Hearing

Parks and Recreation Commission and Urban Forestry Board
The Urban Forestry Board will vote on two appeals to deny removal of heritage trees at 961 Eichler Drive and 500 W. Middlefield Road. The Commission will also receive an annual canopy update from Canopy and a presentation on the FY 2026-27 Community Services Department operating budget.

The Urban Forestry Board denied an appeal of staff's decision to deny removal of a heritage tree at 500 W. Middlefield Road, voting 5-0. The board also voted 4-1 to continue a separate appeal for 961 Eichler Drive to a future date. The commission received updates on the annual canopy, fiscal year budget, and staff announcements.

City Council
Council will decide on acquiring 975 Terra Bella Avenue for $8.65 million for park purposes, and consider extending a shelter crisis declaration through 2035.
