✓ Decided: Board forms task force to evaluate Council of Great City Schools contract

The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education held a work session reviewing student progress metrics and board operations. Directors approved the meeting agenda and established a two-member task force to evaluate options for renewing or replacing the district’s Council of Great City Schools contract, which expires April 1. The board also completed its second-quarter self-evaluation, scoring 98 points across five governance categories. The session focused on discussion and procedural updates rather than binding policy or budget votes.
