Discussion Mayor Moore reported that Waste Management contracted with another company to collect the remaining waste carts that have not yet been picked up. If the carts are not collected soon, the city will collect and store them until Waste Management arranges for their retrieval. Efforts are underway to address the stormwater issues. No explanation has been provided as to why GMC discontinued its work on the project. Another sinkhole was discovered during the sidewalk project. The issue has since been repaired. 911 services are still in the negotiation process. The city is currently working with two counties and is seeking to consolidate services with one county. Another meeting will be held with all parties to work toward an agreement to transition 911 services to St. Clair County. The Fire Chief and Police Chief provided information regarding the 911 districts, and Council Member Turner addressed the 911 contract.
