The Design Review Board serves as an advisory body to City staff, Zoning Administrator, Planning Commission and City Council to make site design
recommendations consistent with the City’s Design Review Guidelines. The Design Review Board works with staff and applicants to review proposed
site development permit applications, planned development applications and precise development plans, and make recommendations concerning
architecture, site design layout, landscaping, parking, signage, exterior lighting and other aspects of urban design to City staff, Zoning Administrator,
Planning Commission and City Council as appropriate.

The Ukiah Valley Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) will hold a special meeting to consider approving amended governing documents (Joint Powers Agreement, Bylaws, and a new Technical Advisory Committee MOU), adopting a strategic plan, and receiving updates on groundwater studies and the 2027 Sustainability Plan evaluation. The Ukiah City Council will consider appointing Darcy Vaughn as City Attorney and transitioning from contract legal services to an in-house position. The City of Ukiah Planning Commission met at a Regular Meeting on July 8, 2026, having been
legally noticed on July 1, 2026. The meeting was held in person and virtually at the following link:
https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83128884939. Chair de Grassi called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.
Roll was taken with the following Commissioners Present: Devery Montaño, Rick Johnson, and
Alex de Grassi. Commissioners Absent: Jacob Brown and Mark Hilliker. Staff Present: Craig
Schlatter, Community Development Director and Kristine Lawler, City Clerk.

The Ukiah Airport Commission will review a proposed fuel supply and branding agreement with World Fuel Services, Inc. and decide whether to proceed with negotiations.
