Water rates proposed to increase 16% annually for three years starting FY 2026/27
The Azusa Utility Board and City Council are jointly considering a resolution to set water rate procedures under Proposition 218 and authorize mailing a notice of public hearing for a proposed rate increase of 16% per year for fiscal years 2026/27 through 2028/29, then 4% annually through 2030/31. Azusa Council to consider ADU code amendments and tobacco shop rules
The City Council will hold public hearings on two zoning code amendments: one to revise regulations for accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and junior ADUs, and another to update rules for tobacco and vaping shops.
