Welcome to the study session of August 10th, 2026. I would like to call this meeting to order. Do we need to? I don't see roll call on here. Let's go do that. Yes. Mayor Hartke. Here. Vice Mayor Encinas. Here. Council Member Poston. Here. Council Member Ellis. Here. Council Member Orlando. Here. Council Member Harris is absent excused. And Council Member Hawkins. Here. We have a quorum. And to our audience, it might seem like I have a fixation of gaveling. In fact, these are sliced and diced separately and show up in different ways as separate meetings. So we have a few items called in. First is item number three and four, the Kyrene Branch and Highline Canal paths. If we could have a briefing by Council Member Orlando. Jason. That's okay. I think Jason will do the briefing. I mean, if you want to do it. That's okay. One second. I'm going to pull up the point. Mayor, the reason why I called this is because it was an exciting project here. Okay. Everyone should know. All right. So we'd just like to make a comment and not a presentation. All right. Well, thank you for your time this evening, Mayor and Council. So, yeah, this is a great project. And it's actually related to three agenda items. One for a construction contract, another for post-design services, and another for construction management. The Kyrene Branch and Highline Canal project is included in the Transpiration Master Plan. There are two separate canals. There are two separate canals that are unimproved in the wes …
