Sarah called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. by calling the roll.

A. Discuss FY25 audit
Shannon reviewed the audit documents including the auditor's independent report of governmental activities, ARPS's FY25 financial statements, and the auditor's findings. As Shannon stated in April, there were no "material findings" but one "significant deficiency" in internal controls regarding allocation of a federal grant (IDEA) across the three districts was found. Shannon explained the origin of the problem, relating to centralization of grant management in the Town of Amherst at the direction of DESE. Going forward, the Student Services Office will manage the federal grants for the three districts, as had been the practice for years. The necessary accounting and reporting corrections have been made.
