Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee

Planning & Zoning Board

The Pinehurst Planning & Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on a proposed zoning map amendment for a 1.25-acre parcel along Augusta National Drive. The change would rezone the land from RD (Recreation Development) to R-30 (Medium Density Residential), requested by the Country Club of North Carolina. The board will also approve minutes from the June 4 meeting and set the next meeting date.

Senior Advisory Committee

The Pinehurst Senior Advisory Committee will meet to approve minutes from June meetings, discuss feedback from a joint meeting with the Neighborhood Advisory Committee, and receive updates from four working groups (Healthy Aging, Safety & Security, Demographics, Communications). A featured presentation will be given by Ms. Lynne Drinkwater on the Moore County Senior Engagement Center. The meeting is open to public comment.

Historic Preservation Commission

The Pinehurst Historic Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on two Major Certificates of Appropriateness for properties in the Historic District: a continued request for a metal roof at 10 McLeod Rd and a roofline extension at 40 Campbell Rd. The commission will also review minor work COAs issued in the past month and approve the previous meeting's minutes.
