BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education hereby accepts the donations of (Exhibit A):
WHEREAS , Junior Achievement of New York has offered sponsored funding in the amount of $5,000 to support Junior Achievement programming within the Patchogue-Medford School District; and
WHEREAS , the donation will fund the JA High School Heroes experiential learning program, providing financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work-readiness instruction to approximately 10–15 elementary school classrooms through high school student volunteers, including all instructional materials and training; and
WHEREAS , the program is anticipated to be implemented at Medford Elementary School during the 2025–2026 school year, with no cost to the District;
