[Music] [Applause] Hi everyone, my name is Sydney Tinleen and I'm one of the Clearwater Sisters of the Young Ambassadors. First I want to say a huge thank you to City Council for the scholarship. It was honestly a life-changing trip. So for my first trip, so for the first week we went to Tokyo Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nara, and Hiogo. We got to see so much. In Tokyo we saw the Skytree and City View from really high up, which was crazy because the city goes on forever. In Nara we saw temples, deer, and shrines. And in Hiroshima we saw the Peace Memorial. I also got to do some Japanese calligraphy on a wooden board. It's harder than it looks. One of my favorite parts of going to Japan was going to S ucker, go to junior high school for two full days. School in Japan is really different from here. They have to take their shoes off when they go in and students clean the school themselves. And they even eat lunch in their classrooms. Everyone was so welcoming. I was a little nervous at first because of the language barrier, but all we needed was Google Translate and hand motions and we were laughing the whole time. For the second part of my homestay trip, I stayed with She ena Takayama. She actually stayed with my family in Clear water first and then I went to stay with her family in Nag ano. It was really cool to see her again in Japan. Her family was amazing. They took me everywhere. In Nagano there are huge mountains with snow on top even in the summer. We did so many fun activi …

[ GAVEL ] >> Let us come to order. Today we are at the public art and design board today is Thursday, July 9th, 2026. I thank everyone for attending. So they're obviously they're artists themselves, and they often need a place or want a place to display their works. And that is up until July 24th, so you still have a couple weeks if you haven't seen it yet. It's getting good reviews, and we had a lovely video on the news. Just we can maybe Amber, you can show that if you haven't already. But there was one of the reporters came and did a nice story about it. She talked to some of the artists and showe …

Hello guys. My name is Alex Stein, S-T-E-I-N, and I have a serious grievance that I came here for. I just got off a fabulous Carnival cruise ship, other than the fact that I lost about $6,400 in the casino. It was a great time. I'm wearing this ridiculous mask. I got diagnosed with Hantavirus, and I don't want anybody. And I got monkeypox, but I'm vaccinated for both, so I think that I will be okay. But I was planning on going on that beautiful Carnival cruise with my wife, Deborah, until she met a guy named Jeremy that told her about this really cool New Age spiritual religion that can bring her to a place of clarity. And you know what? I thought at first, oh, this is a pretty cool thing, you know? It was all about self-help. I was watching Grant Cardone podcasts. I was thinking about investing in real estate. And then the next thing I know, I'm looking at my wife's text messages, and she's sending scandalous pictures to Jeremy. And then she sits me down two weeks before we're supposed to go on this cruise, and she says, Alex, I know you're so excited for this cruise. You've been working so hard for th …

Thank you guys. And hey, I appreciate what all CRA is doing and the opportunity to be part of the North Greenwood District and really the support and really what it means to us as a business trying to make this happen in really North Green wood. And also, this weekend is Father's Day. All fathers get to throw free. All right? All right. Yeah, well, thank you. And you've been there for a while now, so you're sustaining business. I appreciate your continued success. And for those out there wondering, it's real hatchets. But it's completely safe. It's very well monitored. And you do a great job. It's a lot of fun for those. I've done it myself with my son, and it's a fun activity. So congratulations and thank you for being here. That moved to item 4.2 on the agenda. Approved to the 2025 annual financial statement. Thank you. Good afternoon. Monica Mitchell, Assistant Finance Director. This item is for the presentation of the Community Rede velopment Agency's audit for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025. *music* ¶¶ Thank you. Please join me in the pledge. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation , under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Before we go further in tonight's agenda, please, let's do it, to my far left is our deputy city clerk, Nicole Sprague . Good evening. To her right is our city clerk, Rosemarie Call. Good evening. To her right is our interim city attorney, and to her right is our interim city attorney, Owen Caller. Good evening. Folks, folks, I'm going to get to this later. I'm going to get to this later, but I'll share. I appreciate everyone showing enthusiasm for being here tonight. But tonight with the overflow crowd, you know, there are people that can't respond the way you just did, who are not in the room. So if you can please, you know, not respond. If you're happy to see somebody or happy with something that's said, you can show your happy hands or whatever. But it really does, you know, when the crowd responds, however, to react to whatever said, it does slow down the meeting and potentially prevent somebody else from having time to get up here and say the things. So thank you in advance. With that, move to his right, and that is our Councilmember Lena Tasheda. And to my left, Vice Mayor Ryan Cotton. Hello. To my right, Councilmember Mike Menino. To his right, Councilmember Dave Ulbritton. To his right, our city manager, Jennifer Poirier. To her right, Assista …
